
Rates
Guardian Technology Solutions charges on an hourly basis for all services unless otherwise stated. All onsite work within our broad travel area has a 1 hour minimum and is billed in 15 minute increments thereafter. Please see below for more details on our travel areas. Remote work has a 15 minute minimum.
Rates are as follows:
Base Rate: $85/hour
Please add the following charges to our base rate for premium services:
- Emergency Same Day Service: +$20/hour
- Early Mornings (6:30am-8:00am): +$10/hour
- Evenings (5:30p.m.-9:30p.m.): +$20/hour
- Weekends: +$25/hour
- Nighttime Hours (9:30pm -6:30a.m.): +$30/hour
- Holidays*: +$20/hour
- Select Holidays**: +$40/hour

*Regular holidays include but are not limited to: 4th of July, Columbus Day, Presidents' Day, Labor Day, & Veterans' Day .

Travel Policy
Guardian Techology Solutions’ office is centrally located in Mission Valley, thus most areas of San Diego County do not require any additional travel compensation. However, the following more outlying areas will require a 2 hour minimum, and in some extreme cases as stated below, an additional trip charge. GTS reserves the right to modify or clarify these zones at its sole discretion.
- Zone A: 2 Hour minimum
- North County : communities to the north of Solana Beach, Fairbanks Ranch, or Carmel Mountain
- East County: east of Poway, El Cajon, or Spring Valley (SR-67 or SR-54)
- South County: South of National City (SR-54)
- Zone B: 2 hour minimum & $75/trip fee
- Ramona
- Descanso
- Jamul
- Camp Pendelton
- Zone C: 2 hour minimum & $150/trip fee
- Zone D: Ouside San Diego County, Call for Pricing.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made at least 12 hours in advance. Any cancellations made less than 12 hours before the scheduled appointment will be billed at half of the first hour rate. In the event that the engineer shows up to the site and the customer is not present, the engineer will wait 30 minutes from the time of the scheduled appointment, after which time he will leave and the customer will be billed for the entire first hour.

Reinstallation of Software Policy
GTS engineers will not reinstall software for which the customer cannot show proof of ownership. GTS is not liable for reinstalling third-party software for which the customer cannot provide installation CD's.
